The Brain Refigured

An illustration created for Scientific American magazine, to accompany an article about a series of revived experiments from the last century, arguing that the brain works mechanically not electronically. For the design, Owen paid homage to Japanese biophysicist Ichiji Tasaki’s experiments, collaging together a range of his test results and diagrams.
