Owen was approached by Google to work closely with their team on the relaunch of the newly designed Google Primer – An app offering on-the-go business and digital marketing tutorials.
Owen was tasked with guiding the visual aesthetic of the marketing visuals. Inspired by the tagline "Make learning new skills part of your everyday life" he developed a torn window device, allowing viewers a glimpse into the potential settings of a Google Primer user.
Owen then set about creating a series of multi-layered papercut scenes to use for their advertising materials, as well as to be animated for the Primer website. He also created a large suite of handcrafted illustrations for Google to use throughout their marketing and social media outputs.
