Our first book, exploring the contemporary world of papercraft art and illustration. Through in-depth interviews and rarely published behind-the-scenes imagery, Paper Cut delves into the working lives of twenty-five of the world’s leading papercraft artists, giving a unique perspective into this burgeoning field of illustration. For this book we were lucky enough to have control over all the aspects, including the artist selection, interviews and cover artwork. The design was created in collaboration with Chris Clarke, and the text was proof-read and edited by Nick Redgrove. We also created a bespoke hand-cut typeface which was used for all of the artist's titles
Following on from the success of Paper Cut we went onto curate a large exhibition showcasing original artworks by 25 of the artists featured in the book. The show was held at The Proud Archivist in London originally from 28th August - 25th September 2014, but due to popular demand was later extended until 2nd November. Over the course of the show we organised a series of curated talks, workshops and events featuring artists from the exhibition.
