Owen teamed up with photographer Dan Medhurst to create the artwork for 'Amnioverse': a record by UK electromic artist Lapalux, creating haunting, cinematic sounds from hand-made synths. Together the pair explored form, light and shadow through the use of a miniature hand-crafted paper set, which used multiple layers to add depth and a warm haze of pink lighting. Stills shot by Dan of model Sarah Sayuri Hare were then dropped into the set at a scale, to add to the vastness of the image.

The inspiration for the album came from a photograph of American artist James Turrell’s Twilight Epiphany Skyspace installation, located on the Rice University campus in Houston, TX. Of the photograph, Lapalux says: “I looked at it every day for three years whilst making this record. People are sitting in what looks like a waiting room lit in a purple hue, looking up at the dark night sky through a rectangular hole in the ceiling. The image has so much depth and means so much to me…. it seems like we are all in that waiting room, waiting to be somewhere or go somewhere. That’s what I tried to encapsulate in this record.”
Alongside the record sleeve Owen designed a 28 page booklet, featuring some gorgeous shots by Dan Medhurst, and also created a series of icons to represent each of the album's 10 tracks in a fittingly abstract graphic style which were used throughout the package and on merch & promo.
