Joyce – Voyce

In collaboration with Human Worth, Owen was asked to create the vinyl artwork for the kaleidoscopic debut album from 'Voyce' from Joyce.

Joyce was formed by Jimmy Watkins (formerly of Future of the Left, ex-GB Olympic athlete and founder of worldwide running community Running Punks) and features members of such legendary bands as The Cure, Big Special, Adwaith, God Damn and Fauxchisels.

Produced by Thom Edward at the legendary KK's Steel Mill, this album is a true kaleidoscope of sounds, which Owen aimed to convey in my paper cut cover artwork – all crafted using portraits of Jimmy. He also designed the record packaging, choosing a suitably “Luna Yellow” Deluxe Eco Mix Vinyl, released through charitable label Human Worth.  

As with all Human Worth releases, 10% of all proceeds will be donated to charity, and for this release Jimmy has selected Prostate Cymru – a voluntary group dedicated to fighting Prostate Cancer, procuring equipment and raising awareness in the Welsh Principality.
