'How We Learn', by Stanislas Dehaene, explores how the human brain learns in the context of computer science, neurobiology, and cognitive psychology, and offers a fascinating insight into how our brains have developed and how to make the best of them. Penguin Random House approached Owen to design the cover, and in turn Owen created this colourful layering of hand cut illustrations and bold typography, reflecting the wonder and intricacy of the human brain.
