Christmas Is Coming

Owen was invited by Target to work on the annual Coffee Advent Calendar for their in-house food and beverage brand Good & Gather.

The calendar opens like a book, housing 24 individual light roast coffee pods. These are sat behind Owen's multi-layered papercut illustrations, featuring a decadent handcrafted paper wreath on the cover inviting customers into the warm festive scene on the inside. This includes an array of painstakingly handcrafted paper cut elements, including a handsome Christmas tree complete with ornaments and presents, stockings proudly hanging on the fireplace and a friendly robin set against a beautiful winter's landscape, all brought together using the Good & Gather brand tones. 

The final papercut pieces were photographed by Owen in his Brighton studio, using natural light to give suitably soft shadows and brought together to create these rich and warming pieces, ready for the launch of Target's holiday season.
